How It All Started{Backpacking + Podcasts}
Let's set the stage...its was 2007 when one graphic designer, one visual media artist, and one International Relations M.A. specializing in human rights/international law came together to birth the backpod concept.
The internet has empowered the individual. We were inspired by projects who grew in popularity via there strong online presence - then mixed with our strong desire to make a difference out there in the world = and you got it!
Once we clarifed the concept, the rest seemed to fall into place...& we are so so so grateful!
In 2008, we embarked on our inaugural trip to Honduras to highlight the work of our non-profit partner, Global Brigades.
The Future

One trip down...so now we want to keep the MOMENTUM going!
We plan to build & improve on what we established during our first trip to Honduras. The future will include growth to our Backpod family with new relationships, new partnerships, and new journeys!
